Hsinchu Launches 2nd Wave of Public EV Charging: eTreego Partners with Far EasTone to Power Smart City Infrastructure

The Hsinchu City Government officially held the press conference for the "2nd Wave Launch of Public EV Charging Stations" on January 22, 2026, hosted by Mayor Kao. eTreego, as the core hardware provider, was honored to attend alongside our strategic partner, Far EasTone (FET). Together, we witnessed the fruition of our technical integration, marking a significant milestone in building a more efficient and smart transportation network for Hsinchu City.

This initiative represents a perfect synergy between software and hardware. Far EasTone led the overall site planning and the implementation of the AI-driven Energy Management System (EMS), selecting eTreego’s high-specification EV chargers as the hardware core.

This collaboration seamlessly combines Far EasTone’s strengths in IoT and Big Data analytics with eTreego’s deep expertise in power electronics and equipment manufacturing. Facing Hsinchu City’s high standard—where "DC Fast Chargers make up nearly 50% of the network"—Far EasTone relied on the high-load stability and compatibility of eTreego’s equipment. Together, we successfully overcame complex power infrastructure challenges to complete the deployment of 11 new charging stations.
