eTreego Partners with ITRI to Launch AI-Powered Smart EV Bus Charging Management System
As Taiwan accelerates its goal of fully electrifying all 16,000 public buses by 2030, large-scale EV bus charging infrastructure is becoming a critical challenge for transportation operators. When multiple electric buses charge simultaneously, effective power load management is essential. Exceeding contracted grid capacity can lead to significant penalty fees and even increase the risk of power outages.

|Breaking through bottlenecks: 5 key achievements of AI-powered smart charging management
ITRI developed a "Smart Charging System" to address this issue, and it has been officially implemented and demonstrated at the Chung-Hsing Bus Terminal in the Northern Taiwan Science Park. The system integratesinteractive charging management system, AI algorithms, and remote monitoring technology, achieving remarkable results.
