eTreego Partners to Build Hsinchu County's Largest DC Fast-Charging Network in Zhubei

Zhubei City marks another green-energy milestone. The Zhubei City Office has deployed EV charging infrastructure across 19 public parking lots citywide, installing more than 200 charging connectors — the largest public EV charging rollout in Hsinchu County — with every connector running on DC fast-charging technology. For this landmark public infrastructure project, eTreego worked alongside its partner: the operating partner secured the project's operating rights, while eTreego supplied the DC fast-charging equipment, together delivering a high-efficiency public charging network that matches the pace of a technology-driven city.
|19 Parking Lots, 200+ Connectors, All DC Fast Charging
The defining feature of this project is its uncompromising commitment to DC fast charging. Unlike networks that prioritize coverage with slower AC charging, every one of the 200-plus connectors across Zhubei's 19 parking lots uses DC fast-charging technology, significantly reducing wait times for drivers. The first three sites are already online, marking the beginning of a new era in high-efficiency public charging service.
|Partnering for a Complete Solution, from Hardware to Site
The success of a public charging network depends on hardware reliability and responsive on-the-ground support. In this project, the operating partner manages site operations and services, while eTreego contributes its strengths in core charging technology — supplying high-power DC fast chargers and applying its patented interactive charging management system to enable intelligent power distribution and stable, consistent supply at every site. From equipment supply and specification planning to ongoing maintenance support, the two parties worked in complementary roles to bring the fast-charging hardware online on time and to spec, demonstrating what eTreego and its partner deliver together when building out public charging networks.
|Rooted in Zhubei, Advancing Sustainable Cities with MIT-Made Technology
eTreego's headquarters are located right in Zhubei, enabling close, responsive support throughout the equipment installation and technical servicing for this project — a fitting reflection of a homegrown green-energy initiative. Founded in 2017 and incubated under the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), eTreego has spent more than a decade advancing EV control and charging technology. With a product range spanning residential, commercial, and high-power super-fast charging, the company has established itself as one of Taiwan's leading EV charger brands. Partnering on a public charging project in its own hometown reflects the founding vision eTreego has held from day one: to plant "electronic trees" and connect a greener way of life.
|First 3 Sites Live, Expanding Toward Citywide DC Fast Charging
P19 (Lot 15), U1 (Gong-2 Lot 5), and M1 (Lot 13) are now officially online. The charging equipment at the remaining 16 parking lots has also been fully installed and will open progressively once Taipower completes the grid-connection process, gradually building a DC fast-charging service network that spans the whole of Zhubei.
Looking ahead, eTreego will continue to work alongside operators and public-sector partners, bringing reliable charging hardware and intelligent charging solutions to accelerate the expansion of Taiwan's public charging network — advancing a low-carbon, sustainable future in mobility.
