Get On! Electric Scooter Fast Charging Station Arrives in Japan | YAMAHA Electric Scooter E01 Demonstration Project

In March 2022, Yamaha announced that it would begin demonstration trials of its electric scooter, the E01 (under 125cc), in countries including Japan, Europe, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia. The company plans to roll out 500 units worldwide, with trials slated to begin in July.
The E01's charging communication specifications are identical to Taiwan's CNS standards. A demonstration project in Japan also employed eTreego's electric motor fast-charging equipment for testing. This is because Qi Er Xing has already deployed nearly 500 electric scooter charging cables in Taiwan, collaborating with companies such as CMC, Yes-charging, Energy Moana, and QSCOO. This has accumulated over three years of operational experience, and future collaboration with YAHAMA will allow for expansion into other countries.
