Partnering with Experts to Put Corporate Sustainability into Action

On June 6, 2026, eTreego carried out a beach cleanup at Yong'an Fishing Port in Taoyuan! Collaborating with the Organic Association, we donned gloves, got to work, and, guided by expert environmental educators, transformed the cleanup into more than just trash collection—it became a powerful lesson in marine sustainability.

Why Yong-An Fishing Port?

Yong-An Fishing Port, a key fishing hub and popular tourist spot in Taoyuan, is home to diverse intertidal ecosystems. However, the growing problem of marine debris is endangering the ecological balance of this scenic coastline. Data indicates that plastics make up a significant portion of coastal waste in Taiwan. This pollution not only spoils the natural beauty but also poses risks to marine life and human health via the food chain. We believe that corporate responsibility should extend beyond business operations. Through organizing beach cleanups and similar initiatives, we aim to uphold our sustainability goals, increase public awareness about marine protection, and promote the reduction of plastic usage.

Professional Collaboration, Making Every Effort Count

This beach cleanup, led by the expert environmental education team from the Organic Association, not only taught participants how to properly sort marine debris but also enhanced their awareness of the importance of protecting marine ecosystems and the deeper meaning behind every effort to reduce plastic use. On that day, everyone worked together to carefully gather various types of marine litter along the shore, including PET bottles, plastic bags, fishing gear waste, and polystyrene pieces. Within just a few hours, a significant amount of trash was collected, restoring the coastline’s cleanliness and encouraging us to consider the current challenges facing marine environments. By partnering with professional organizations, this initiative went beyond simple cleanup—it became a lasting source of environmental education, perfectly exemplifying the "Social" and "Partnership" principles of ESG.

Our ESG Sustainability Commitment

This beach cleanup is a reflection of our long-standing commitment to corporate social responsibility. Looking ahead, we will continue to:

  • Deepen environmental protection: Organizing regular beach cleanups, tree planting, and other eco-friendly activities
  • Promote green offices: Implementing plastic reduction, energy conservation, and resource recycling
  • Expand community engagement: Partnering with professional organizations, employees, partners, and local communities to advance sustainability together

We firmly believe that only by integrating sustainability into our daily operations — and by building long-term partnerships with professional organizations — can we truly achieve a future where business, the environment, and society thrive together.

Join Us in Protecting Our Oceans

Environmental protection is not the responsibility of one person, but an action everyone can take part in. We sincerely invite you to start by reducing single-use plastics and sorting your waste properly, and to join us in safeguarding this beautiful ocean for the next generation.
